The interaction and discussion that I shared with Roger was pretty much limited to fishing instructions. My boss is very prominant in the global financial world and has many high profile clients like Roger Waters and the Dutchess of Kent, etc. He would not have approved of my fawning over one of his guests, particularly one as private as Roger. I am very professional in how I approach my job, so I stuck to business.

Roger was very nice to me and he even teased me a couple of times because I'm so serious on the boat. As that photo was taken, he joked that I was getting him slimy by holding the fish too close to him in my zealousness to capture that moment.

Roger is a pretty good angler too. We were fishing off Montauk with live eels on 8/0 Gamagatsu live-bait circle hooks, and Roger did not miss a single hook up all afternoon. We ended taking four Striped Bass between 30 and 40 pounds, releasing several others. A day of fishing that I will never forget...

So now you can say, quite accurately, that you taught Roger Waters a thing or two about bass. (You will also be able to hear variations on that bad joke for years.) What a neat experience.
